The President of the Republic of Estonia is on an official visit to the Vatican

President Kersti Kaljulaid is on an official visit to the Vatican, where she will meet with His Holiness Pope Francis.

During his visit to Estonia in the fall of 2018, Head of the Catholic Church Pope Francis extended an invitation to the Estonian President. In addition to the Pope, President Kaljulaid will also meet with Archbishop Paul Gallagher, the Secretary for Relations with States of the Holy See’s Secretariat of State.

The visit to the Vatican will be followed by a working visit to Torino, where the head of state will open an exhibit of the works of Estonian artist Konrad Mägi at the Musei Reali. She will also meet with Mayor of Torino Chiara Appendino and give a lecture at the Polytechnic University of Torino.
